Meredith’s emphasis in solution-focused and behavioral therapies allows for change facilitated through the therapeutic process. She creates for her clients and environment that is safe, caring, calm and empowering. With her deep compassion and clarity, her counseling becomes a catalyst for positive change through self-awareness, acceptance, healing and growth.
Beyond her work counseling in a private practice, Meredith has worked in the school system, in youth-focused non-profits, community mental health centers and employee assistance programs.
In addition, Meredith is passionate about suicide prevention and served as the Director of SpeakUp ReachOut, The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Eagle Valley, and leads first-responder trainings. Meredith also has expertise in social work in an emergency and hospital setting through her experience at the Vail Valley Medical Center.
Meredith’s latest calling was getting certified as a life and wellness coach. Meredith found a lot of her therapeutic practices focused on goal setting and making behavioral changes, which serve as an ideal platform in wellness coaching. Expertise in both coaching and more traditional therapies allows the client to benefit from integrative techniques and applications.
Meredith practices what she preaches in working toward her life goals and finding balance at home, at work, and at play. She loves mountain biking, trail running, skiing, yoga, and barre workouts. Meredith also works on her cooking and baking skills (a work in progress) to provide healthy and nutritious meals for her family including her husband and three young boys.
